As of 1971, Guy Nafilyan, lawyer at the Court of Appeal in Paris, practised in a firm that specialised in real-estate law and business law. In 1977, he became vice-chairman of the company Kaufman & Broad France, and then Chairman and Managing Director from 1983 to January 2014. Guy Nafilyan, a leading figure in the real-estate sector, was named a knight of the Legion of Honour and awarded the national order of Merit by a decree from the President of the Republic in 1995. In January 2014, backed up by 40 years’ experience in real estate, he embarked upon a new challenge with the creation of Nafilyan & Partners, aiming to become a key real-estate developer in Île-de-France.

Bruce Karatz became Chief Executive Officer of Kaufman & Broad Home, one of the leading real-estate developers in the United States, in 1986. He was named Chairman in 1993. In 2004, Bruce Karatz was ranked sixth among the most influential figures in his sector of activity, behind Alan Greenspan and President George W. Bush. During his thirty years at the head of Kaufman & Broad Home, his group delivered almost 400,000 housing units and employed up to 6,000 staff. Bruce Karatz was also a member of several Boards of Directors of major multinational companies including Edison International and Honeywell International. In addition, in 2005 Bruce Karatz was given the coveted title of ‘Best Chairman’ by the American Business Awards.
Managing Director Nafilyan & Partners
Marc Nafilyan began his career in real estate with an independent Parisian developer in 1987. He then joined the Coprim group in 1993 as a property developer in Île-de-France. In 2007, Marc Nafilyan was appointed Director of the Nice branch of Kaufman & Broad. He became Regional Director of the Paca region in 2008. One year later, in 2009, Marc Nafilyan was appointed Managing Director in charge of Île-de-France and became a member of the Management Board of Kaufman & Broad until January 2014.
